Planning Consultation

North Lanarkshire Council welcome you to the public consultation website for their proposed new Orbiston Community Hub in Bellshill. This follows the submission of a Proposal of Application Notice to North Lanarkshire Council on 25th February 2022.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and in accordance with Scottish Government guidance for virtual consultation on Major developments, this website will provide a central location for information relating to the proposed development, and will also host a live, online ‘two-way’ consultation event, instead of face-to-face communication that would normally be available at physical public exhibitions. This will be through a text based chat function available on 26th May between between the hours of 3pm to 7pm. These consultation activities will help inform our future planning application for the development of the site.

In addition to this we are also proposing to hold an in person event that will provide an opportunity to review the proposals in the community and to discuss the project with the team.

If you are aware of someone who does not have internet access and/or requires hard copies of any consultation information and/or feedback forms, you can provide us with their name and address, and we will send this information to them. Alternatively, the Team can be contacted as below, and anyone can leave their contact details and any comments for the Team.
